Learn Together. Grow Together. Thrive Together.
Want to take your dog’s training into the real world? Looking for structured practice around other dogs and distractions? Want to improve your confidence in a fun, supportive setting? Our group classes are a great way to challenge your dog’s obedience —and yours— while building community, confidence, and consistency.
S.N.K9 Group Classes are open to approved dogs who’ve had an evaluation or private training. These are real, working sessions where we coach you through handling your dog in public and social settings.
This page will cover:
What Group Classes Are — And What They’re Not
Our group classes are designed for dogs who already have a foundation in training and are ready for the next level: real-world distraction and social obedience.
Each class:
Is led by a professional trainer
Includes multiple working teams (dogs + handlers)
Focuses on drills, coaching, and real-time feedback
Challenges dogs with distractions (dogs, people, environment)
Offers Q&A and coaching to help you problem-solve
This is not a “pet store class” or free-for-all. Our groups are small, structured, and focused on progress.
What We Work On in Group Classes
Group classes help bridge the gap between structured obedience and the unpredictability of real life. Here’s what we typically cover:
Obedience under distraction
Walking past other dogs & people calmly
Holding Place or Down in a group setting
Long-distance recalls
Impulse control with toys, treats, or commotion
Confidence and neutrality around other dogs
Handler coaching in real time
Light socialization (no off-leash play)
We rotate drills, environments, and challenges to keep things engaging and practical.
Who Group Classes Are For
Group classes are perfect for:
Dogs who have completed Private Lessons or Board & Trains
Owners who want to continue building skills around distractions
Dogs who need more practice staying calm in social settings
Handlers who want to refine communication & body language
Families who want structured exposure for their dog
All group class participants must complete an evaluation first. Not every dog is ready for this setting, and that’s okay! If needed, we’ll start with a Private Lesson or Board & Train to build a foundation first.

We offer drop-in and package pricing:

How to Join
Start with an evaluation! We’ll assess where your dog is and whether group classes are a good fit, or if they’d benefit from a little more structure first.
