I’ve seen him adjust a training plan and pivot at the last second based on our dog’s training needs. He is also much more than basic obedience. Anything you can imagine for dog training, he probably knows about it. And best of all, he loves dogs. He is one of the very very few people that I trust being alone with my dog without supervision. S.N.K9 did an amazing job with my pup. He went in with virtually no obedience and a stubborn attitude like I’ve never seen before and when I got him back he was well behaved and listened to my every word. It was easy to tell that there had been a serious amount of time contributed to the detail in the training of my pup. I can tell that my dog was treated well the whole time by his excitement when we returned for a lesson. This was a great experience and I highly recommend it to anyone with a pup who needs a little guidance.

Ben was so thorough and explained every step we used to train our 9 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi!! We brought him a wild and stubborn and smart dog that was wearing us down daily. After one month, we have a dog that minds and listens to commands. We are still learning and he is still pushing the boundaries, but with Ben’s guidance, our Dash is on the way to being a Great Dog and Family Member!

Wonderful Experience!! We came with a smart, stubborn, head-strong 9 month old puppy and after 5 individual sessions, now have a well-behaved boy! Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi is still testing our boundaries, but we now have the tools to grow him into a perfect pet and fun family member! Ben took his time with us, helped us walk through each step in training, explained everything thoroughly. We recommend Ben if you have a dog that needs that extra push to be great!!

This was a wonderful experience for us and our dog. We did a two week on leash program with our 1 year old chocolate lab. Duke is one smart dog. We are from Missouri and we had to drive 5 hours away but let me tell you it was worth it. He has learned so much. We definitely do believe he will be a good dog for mom and dad and to everyone else.

Now we are thinking about off leash program for him because he did so good.

I brought my 11 month old Pitt female pup to Ben for on leash training, specific to flight risk, jumping, biting the lead, and normal behavioral training. Ben was great, we spoke every week and he provided me with detailed updates and collaborations about Shea and her needs. Upon picking Shea up after 2.5 weeks, Ben provided my husband and I with our training to better assist her with keeping her on the right track. I would highly recommend Ben’s program. Boomer finished his training with Ben at S.N.K9 and is a new puppy! I had taken him to another trainer for a 2 week board and train when he was 3 1//2 months old. I ended up picking him up after 1 week because he was just not progressing as I thought he should be (he is my 4th lab and they all were professionally trained so I am familiar with the process).

I googled dog trainers in my area and found S.N.K9. I liked what I saw and made an appointment with the owner, Ben Savu, for a free evaluation. He and Boomer hit it right off and I could tell this was the right place for us. I chose the 2 week board and train as I felt Boomer needed to get a fresh start from the first trainer he went to. Well, let me tell you, Boomer is a new puppy! No more pulling on leash, no more jumping on people, no more reactive aggression, no more constant barking and almost no chasing the cats which we have almost conquered. “Well, mom, I am a puppy and they like me to chase them”.
